Every current nurse started exactly where you are. We all had to consider our calling, weigh the options, and make the decision to act. It is the only way to become a nurse. The fact that we did it doesn't mean it was easy. Or quick. But many of us would say it was worth it.
In December we celebrated the first class of BAYADA scholars. There was so much joy in those weeks, from the students and their families, the instructors, and everyone on the BAYADA Education team. Watching these students work so hard for their dream has been inspiring to us all. The joy on their faces says more than words ever could:
These nurses all share one thing: they made the decision to follow their hearts. This was not without sacrifice, but isn't this true of most good things in life?
If you are ready to make a commitment to yourself and your call to nursing, we invite you take one small step. Sign up for an information session. Reach out to your BAYADA enrollment advisor. Or maybe just confide in a family member or friend that you want to seriously pursue your dream.
