Every May brings Nurses Week, which is a time to recognize the dedication, skill, and compassion nurses bring to the care they provide every day. It is also a chance to celebrate the bravery it takes to start something new.

This Nurses Week we're celebrating both, with the newest Thomas Edison State University Accelerated BSN Scholars Track at Cooper graduates. These eight nurses spent 15 months turning their dream into reality and we are so proud of them. Among this exceptional group of students are DAISY Award honoree, Nairoby S., and Joel T., a BAYADA employee who completed the program and will transition into an RN role. Joel is passionate about home health care because, as he puts it, "it is just so awesome to know that you're making a difference in their life." The other seven graduates have accepted conditional employment offers from Cooper.

Not long ago, these graduate nurses were where you are now, exploring this path, weighing their options, and deciding on next steps. They had questions and were at times unsure, but they made the decision to take the next step.
